Spray Tan

I got a spray tan a couple of months back in a very well known and highly recommended beauty salon. It was on special offer at half price. I've gotten spray tans there before and they have never gone wrong.

This time it was an absolutely shocking result, the girl completely missed the insides of my lower legs and my shoulders, it was streaky around the wrists/ankles and patchy on my neck. I couldn't go back and complain as I had a flight the next morning. I ended up wearing tights for the occasion and by the time I returned two days later it was almost completely washed off.

My 21st is next week and I would like to get it done in this place again, as it is very local and I have loved the other spray tans I've had done there. Only thing is it's on Christmas special next week too, so I'm worried I will get another lazy job done. What do you guys think? Should I say it to them this time about my last experience or perhaps find somewhere else? If so can anybody recommend a good spray tanning place (south Dublin area) :)

Could you request the original girl to do it again?

Carter Beauty in Blackrock do it for 15; Lisa Murphy's place is for 25 at the moment and it's top notch (http://www.newlisalife.ie/)

I didn't want to but I guess they deserve it... Brown Cow in Sandyford.
They use Fake Bake and I have had lovely tans done there before, I just think it was a bit half assed because it was on special

Thanks for the info everybody I hope wherever I go it turns out nice

id recommend just casually asking if they by any chance use a different brand/type for the offer because the last time it was on offer you got a really bad job and you just wanna be sure it turns out right- this way you seem like you're not giving out, just genuinely asking, and it also kind of warns them not to screw it up this time!!

I have a number of a girl who comes to the house - she is absolutely fantastic! €20 and you can hop straight into your pjs! I can pm you her number if you like.

Could you pm me the number, is she based north or south of Dublin?

She's southside, lives in Dublin 18, is that suitable for you?

I'm sorry, but Brown Cow Sandyford deserve to be named and shamed. The first spray tan I had done there was very good, which is why I went back, but the second one - my god, my hands and feet were a total disgrace, and started becoming patchy and flaky within a day. I was in the same position as the OP - going away the next day so there was nothing I could do about it. I thought it might have just been a one off, so I went back recently for another one but it was just as bad, I think they just don't understand how to do hands and feet. I won't be going back!

You should go back to the salon and explain what happened. The girl needs to be trained up! it sounds like she hasn't had the right training. Also I'd request a free spraytan from one of the more experienced therapists it's the least they can do!!! They will be grateful this is brought to their attention no salon can afford to lose business at the moment.
