Email Problem

    Hi,

    Sorry if there is a very simple solution to the problem but I got a HTC desire yesterday and set up my email account fine, the email seemed to be receiving and sending ok, but today the emails are being received but I cannot send emails anymore, could anyone help me with this.

    I have a @live.ie account
    and set the smtp.com server as : smtp.live.com
    TLS
    server port 25

    any reason this isnt working, I just tried to set the email up again with the above settings and the incoming settings are fine but when i set the outgoing server settings as above i get an error....

    Any help woul dbe great

    I've noticed that I cannot send emails (exchange) on my HDH when connected to WiFi - need to switch it off - clear outbox using 3G -then WiFi back - strange?

    I just changed the port on my outgoing mail and it works fine now, well for the moment
