I bought a DS Lite and an R4 card from a less than reputable shop on holidays... Both work fine but as it turns out the R4 is a clone and its difficult finding correct firmware for it.. The other day I tried to play some real games on it and the DS doesn't recognize them? Has anyone encountered this before? Has the clone…

Never heard of it. The r4 cartridge might be off size (slightly thicker) that means your official carts are now loose in the slot and not making connections right. IF they are being detected then this isn't the issue,
