    Hi guys,

does anyone know if that line check for products on Eircom actually works, eg: http://www.eircom.net/broadband/products/?BV_SessionID=null&BV_EngineID=null

Moving apartment and it looks like its only Eircom or Digiweb for us - found out number for the new gaff - but when I enter it, I basically get a null response - which is incredibly annoying. I'm assuming if the line isn't supported it would return a message to that affect. Basically it returns nothing, which may mean that everything is available - but it's a rather bone-headed UI.

It should give you a definite yes or no answer when you enter a number. If you got no response at all, something went wrong.

    Try it here.

If it says no, then your line cannot get broadband, and quite probably never will.

Cool - thanks for the link! Very strange in our case as it says that the number is not pre-approved, if I use another on the same block no bother. So thinking line is probably but will need to call to get it sorted out. Number is in Sandycove within 5k of the Dun Laoghaire exchange (as far as I can make out). Thanks again!

I just tested mine and failed the line test. I hadn't tried for a few years before now, what a joke. My neighbours across the road can get it and I can't.
