What do ye think are the best sports docs out there?

Personally I think the NFL America's Game series that's on Sky Sports is brilliant. Some of the ESPN 30 for 30 ones are fairly good.

I thought Jim Styne's doc was brill last night.

Brilliant documentary. I also loved Tyson - it makes you really pity the guy.

I'm not into wrestling but I used to watch it when I was a kid. So just watched Bret the Hitman Hart documentary. Fantastic. Great behind the scenes look at how the WWF/WWE doesn't give a sh1t about its staff. They just hang them out to dry when they're finished with them.

I've heard some good things about them ESPN documentaries. Have to catch a few of them.

'The Two Escobars', which is another ESPN film is amazing- it's about the indirect link between drug baron Pablo Escobar and murdered footballer Andres Escobar.

'Big River Man', a documentary about Martin Strel, a 50 year old overweight alcoholic from Slovenia who sets out to swim the entire length of the Amazon. Incredibly powerful and real documentary.

some of the espn 30 for 30 documentaries are really good...one that springs to mind is into the wind (story about terry fox - young guy with one leg who had cancer and ran across canada)...there's a few of the espn docs that are poor enough tho.

    Big man river sounds interesting..

Personally my three favorite are When We Were Kings, Hoop Dreams and Murderball in that order. Dont watch American Football but NFL America's Game is very good.

Love those shows - very well put together and narrated I think.

The 00's were on one day recently showed like 5 in a row, loved it! :)
