    Please help.
We have heat on full blast, two solid fuel stoves in the house, one with back boiler and also gas central heating, we pumped the walls and we got new windows a few years ago but the house is still so cold. We are not sure are the windows that good but thats another story.
I am trying to find the person who can come and tell us where the heat is escaping. I think i saw him on that Duncan Stewart programme once using infra red (i think).
Please suggest what is best to do.

Google "heat loss survey" to find surveyors for heat loss

My last house was like that! It was built in the sixties and broke our hearts even though having a back boiler and central heating. I got a builder friend of mine in to take a look at the attic, walls etc. He ended up replacing windows and in fact getting rid of the large ones and literally halving them (half wall where large window was). Also you could contact sei.ie and see if you can get some valuable information. Best of luck cause it is so annoying when heat is literally going through walls and doors and windows.
