Ive been dyeing my hair red for the past few months and still havent found a shade im really happy with. Any dye ive used has faded pretty quick which I know happens alot with red hair dye. Ive heard great things about herbal essences hair dye but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Ive searched online and only came across it on American websites and Amazon.co.uk which is an absoulte rip off, 30 euro for one box of hair dye with post and packaging?!!

Does anyone know of any shops that sell it in Dublin? preferably on the northside if not in town. Or any websites they know of selling it?

    Thanks :)

I heard about this as well when I was dying my hair red when I was over in America.

I haven't seen it on the shelves over here.

Have you tried using XXL colour?

I remember years ago when I used to dye my hair blonde I used herbal essence hair dye before so I know it did used to be out there I just havent seen it in a long time. My skin can be sensitive sometimes and I know that this is a much gentler dye and doesnt have that awful chemical smells so thats another reason Im on the look out for it.

Ive never used XXL colour before I think the red hair colours on the box scared me a bit. I have a fear my hair would turn out bright red! Have you used them before? Any good?

Oh sorry I thought you meant just the red.

You can get the Herbal Essense dye's in Dunnes. Saw them there last night but I don't think the red is available here.

I thought the XXL was good. But I was going for the bright red look.
