Hi, wow that was some weather, I took this picture at 11am driving from Bristol to Chester, UK last Friday 3rd December, I had never seen my outside temp gauge go so low! I was on the motorway doing 60mph, I could feel the car skid underneath me and loads of car were passing me as if I were stopped, I was expecting a major pile up on the motorway but thankfully there wasn't and got home ok. YEAH!

Last winter which I spend in Poland, it was below -15 almost everyday.
The record I noticed was -24, but I don't have a gauge pictures.

It's really cold, but luckily the climate is much dried down there, and even the low temperature, you don't get a slippery surface.
I remember I was traveling back to Ireland throught Germany in the middle of the night, at -17 degrees I was doing over 200km/h on motorway, as surface was absolutely dry and not slippery at all.
