Hi everyone. I'm want to get my niece perfume (or maybe a beauty set, e.g. a perfume and cream) for Christmas. I was hoping someone might be able to recommend perfumes that are nice/popular with people her age (she's 27). Any suggestions welcome!! (or any other gift ideas also welcome!) :) Btw. I'm kinda looking round the 40 euro mark budget wise!

I got Lancomes Miracle gift set for my friends birthday. It was 40e (from the perfume shop) and it had a bottle of the perfume and a moisturiser and shower gel in it. She loved it, very feminine scent, not overpowering either! :)

Calvin Klein 'Eternity' is nice. I love 'Obsession' myself, but as it's quite strong, it night not be everyones cup of tea. Eternity is a bit lighter.

    Paco Rabanne - Black XS

    Ooooooh how I love it.

Slightly off topic, but I find perfumed shower gels to be pointless. The scent doesn't stay on you for more than a few minutes after you dry yourself off. Just a money spinner I think. They're all just sodium laureth anyway so it's not like your even getting a high quality shower gel

I love DKNY apple, nice box and you get a lovely body lotion in it, fab perfume!

Love the smell in the shower though, it's like your having a perfumey "herbal essences moment!" :D

Also Dior pure poision gift set is gorgeous a little bit pricey (it was 60 euro but so worth it) and it only comes out at special occasions ;)

Second vote for the Dior set. I have Daisy by MJ and although most people love it I think it smells a little like cat wee!

There's a good (and timely!) review of various perfumes here: http://www.girlieguide.com/ggs-blog/which-perfume-nov-17-2010-7-41-37-pm-37

There are no restrictions on the number of customer purchases of the offer at Boots and if you have an advantage card you will bag yourself 112 points :D
