Calculating E.A.R

    Hi, I have recently opened a savings account with 3.5% E.A.R but can anyone tell me roughly what I could expect to gain on a balance of €4500 to €4800 every year, I think I would have to pay 25% to the government? I tried online calculators but no luck!
