Just a quick question. 6 handed game with 6 players left blinds at 300/600. UTG raises to 1200 then player after him goes all in for 2200. Can any players behind him raise although the previous bet has not been doubled?

Ya any player inclusive of the big blind can again raise as they have not been involved in any action yet. If say the bb called the 2200 the utg would be unable to raise again as the raise is not doubled.

Cheers for that but I still don't get it. Can you make it any clearer please.

A good rule of thumb is that a short raise like this is essentially treated like a call, in terms of who gets to bet raise etc.

no they cannot raise because the all in was not at least double the last bet.. people can now only call the all in for 2200 or fold

In this scenario, UTG is only raising 600 so a min reraise is actually only an extra 600 so the all in player actually has more then a min re-raise so anyone can reraise again if they wish.

If the raiser had raised an extra 1200, to 1800 then it would be slightly different. Anyone who has not acted yet can raise if they want. If anyone calls the all-in though, the initial raiser cannot re-raise again.

However, if another player decides to reraise to say 4000, the initial raiser now has an opportunity to raise again if he wishes.

Incorrect. Anyone who has not acted have all options open to them,.
