Big mistake, McLove just wanted to know cause he knows your house is a soft-touch. He'll be around to steal your floorboards later, if you're lucky he'll leave the ceilings.

unlucky laura, sorry to hear it. Do ye have an alarm?

****e hon - that's not good news - I'm out here in CHM too - didn't hear anything about it. TG neither of you were home at the time, it could have been worse. Things are replacable, lives aren't. Small comfort tho now. PG your insurance will cover most things for you.

Sorry for the expletive - but it was warranted!

    Dibs on the ceilings. ;)
Presume it was a rented gaff fitted out on the cheap by the landlord - crappy side gate or none, and no alarm?

What difference does that make? You can be pretty sure he'll be on the streets for the next year while he awaits trial.

Some of the goods were recovered, which was a relief for those affected...but you are right and I must apologize for trying to put any bit of a positive spin on the story
