Kindle for Android - Question

OK, downloaded this app, and it works very well. I've got a free book from the kindle store to test it on my desire, and all fine.

Is there a way though to get it to read PDF files or any other file you have uploaded to your phones memory store? I had a look around in the menus, and really couldn't see how to do it, if it is at all possible. Maybe you have to upload them to an account at amazon or somethnig, but I couldn't see an option for that either. I don't have an actual kindle, although I am very tempted, but that is a different matter.

    Any help appreciated, etc.

kindle is pretty restrictive, think it can only read it's own format.

Aldiko is a very good reader for other formats...
