    Hi looking for some help if possible..does anyone know if the social welfare office is open today..i am due to sign at 14.00, roads are lethal where i am and its been snowing consistently since 9.00 now..trying to ring them to see what the story is..have phone on speaker since 10.00..thats half an hour now and no answer!!! Does anyone have any idea what the situation is??? greatly appreciate any help..thanks!!
    Ok just been searching online and i found this statement that was released last friday..might help some of ye too..

    Hi,

    That statement is dated the 03/12/2010. I assume it also applies for the current artic weather? I'm due to sign on today and there is no way in the world Im going to get to my signing on office. Anyone got current updates from the department?
