Lip Venom / Fusion

    Hiyas,

Getting a few small gifts for my wife (besides the "big" present). Just stocking fillers. She hinted at a couple of bits of make-up, and when she was out with her friends a few months ago, one of them tried Lip Venom on her and she loved it.

Basically, my question is, where's the best place to get it (in Dublin)? Would Boots carry it? Is Lip Venom or Lip Fusion better? Should a man even know these things? :p

While I'm at, are there any other little bits I should keep an eye out for?

    Thanks!

I think lip fusion is better personally. You can buy it here: http://www.cdwow.ie/beauty/lipfusion-xl-collagen-advanced-lip-plumping-therapy-clear/dp/1356979 (they have other colors too but clear may be the safest bet) I haven't seen it in Boots, I usually ordered it from Sephora.

Also if she wears lipstick/gloss often I would recommend getting her a primer (if she doesn't already have one!) my favorite is Urban Decay lip primer potion which you can get from Debenhams on Henry Street or ASOS.com. Ohh and if she wears eye makeup often she would really appreciate Urban Decay primer potion which is a primer for your eyes, it makes your eyeshadow look flawless - no creasing or fading even hours later.

Just some stocking filler ideas :) good luck!

Ordered those few bits. Just need one more piece of advice.

She has a Youthful Essence kit, which she likes a lot. I've noticed that the cream (the one with the gritty* bits in it) is running a little low. Is this the right stuff to get?

    * I know it's not "grit" but haven't a clue what the real name is :o

I don't know much about that brand but the grits means it's an exfoliator most likely. Just googled youthful essence and it seems that it's a personal Microdermabraision system. The description of the cream in that auction is:

"Resurfacing Cream - Buff away your old skin cells to reveal the fresh dewy skin beneath with our Vitamin-Enriched Resurfacing Cream. Brimming with antioxidants, each formula is designed to help reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, skin discoloration and pore size, while helping to even out skin tone. Safe for sensitive skin types too!"

So I think that's the right one! I bet she's going to be a happy girl on Christmas day!!
