My Black Ops has been really acting up
It starts normally it goes through the mini intro showing Treyarch and Activision and while I can't turn it off it is still normal then it shows the women saying the numbers and when she's done it just goes black and stays black.
I'm afraid that's all the info I can give any got any ideas of what the problem is ?

May have being a bad pre installation of the game the first time it was loading up. Completely wipe off any files belonging to the game from your PS3 and try it again. Have you updated your PS3 Lately?

Well the thing is I've had the game since it came out and it worked fine but when I was playing a multiplayer game the host left and the game froze trying to pick a new host and when I re-started it the game wouldn't load to the "Press Start" screen.

Although it actually has been fixed since I downloaded the new patch today and I'm 100% sure it was the patch which fixed this problem as I had only tried it before. But thanks very much for trying to help - I appreciate it

My friend said it had something to do with the files being corrupted he showed me this today : He went into recovery mode
(To go to recovery mode, turn off your PS3, then hold the power button until the PS3 turns on than back off. Hold it until the red light appears again. Then, hold the power again. You'll hear one beep than two quick beeps. Let go after the two quick beeps. The recovery menu will pop. From there, choose the 'Restore File System' option. It SHOULD say your hard drive is corrupted, and ask to restore. Choose to restore.

Now, don't worry, all your saves will be kept.)
That's what he done and it worked fine for him he said this is the second time it's happened to him
