Where do the audience put their overcoats? I know this may sound like a silly question but I just cant understand, its minus 4 outside so when they leave the studio it will be Baltic, and yet there they are in their jackets and ties and even shirts and jumpers. I am trying to look under the seats and I dont see any. Is there a cloakroom perhaps? Same at all RTE shows btw.
    Just curious.

Meh, thirty years ago on the Late Late show they used to knit.

Look how far we've come as a nation.

I can't remember the last time I saw such a great thread in AH. This had me giggling away at the sheer pointlessness of it.

I went to Q&A once. I think they had a several clothes hangers on a wheely rack, like you see in laundries sometimes. Like a mobile cloakroom, but it's a long time ago, so I might be wrong. I do remember the gave us several glasses of very bad tasting white wine.

They had a limerick competition during the break and we won! 25 euro book voucher I think. Mr Bowman was a very nice smiley man who shook everyone's hand as they left. Great night. Ah memories.

There's a big cloakroom backstage with wall-to-wall coathooks on the walls, one for everyone in the audience.

The coats are all burned on the way in. A team seamsters and seamstress' are then set to work on manufacturing a new overcoat for each and every person in the studio. The cost is covered by the government's overcoat allowance.

They probably just leave their jackets and coats in their cars. I'm sure it's not too far a walk from the carpark. Oh and they leave their car keys in a big bowl inside the door. Pat gets the first pick!

Overcoats? that's a bit extravagant, I thought everyone was wearing hair shirts these days.
