    Mr. Nobody (2009)

Oddly, I tried finding discussion about this film here but came up with nothing. I then expanded my search to all of boards.ie, and again, nothing. I could make a quip about how this might relate to the film, but then as it appears nobody has seen it I guess I'd be the only one laughing. If there is discussion about it somewhere but I'm not finding it then please point me in the right direction.

I'm guessing people here have seen it, just haven't spoken about it. I found it quite thought provoking and deserving of discussion, in the same guise as "The Fountain", also, if you have even a passing interest in pre-socratic philosophy, such as the thoughts of Parmenides and Eternalism or Fatalism or a laymans knowledge of quantum mechanics you'll find it interesting.

If you liked The Fountain, The Butterfly Effect or The Nines then this would be a must see.

Starring Jared Leto, it deals with how we perceive reality and existentialism. Basically it describes a fatalist view of the Universe (the future has already happened, we just don't remember it) and how, under the specific circumstances within this film, how one might step outside of those confinements, whether it is reality or not. It then deals with the nature of reality.

It covers a lot of topics quickly. So, even at 141mins long, it feels hurried. I would criticize it for not devoting enough time to characterization, but then I feel the ideas within the film itself dwarf both the characters and the plot.

Has anyone seen it? If so what did yous think?
