dual system problem

hi im trying to sort out a problem with a friends plumbing.
it was pumping over so i removed all rads and flushed them and pipework ;2 rads were blocked almost ,after cleaning and filling it stopped pumping over but stove side of system doesnt seem to heat rads
im not a plumber[how many times have you heard that]but have put in a few systems over the years so i have a reasonable idea what im at.
i cant work out why the plumber put the feed and expansion on same pipe,also i think rads are working from a single pipe,nor can i figure out where return is to oil.
hope someone can help?

sorry pump on stove side connects to stove return not rads

He probably put the cf into exp to stop it pitching. Not the ligit way but it works. I'd change it if I were you. I see the pump is pulling from the coil? It should be pulling from the heating and back into the return to stove. Cylinder is primary circuit and should not be obstructed. Hop that helps. Is there any NRVs or injector tees in the installation?
