Mods I hope this is the correct forum?

a problem occured during the switching of hosting provider. I am unable to identify what the original password fro Outlook was, and looking for a way to resolve a real headache problem! I need to change my Outlook Network password so that I can complete the switch from a webmail account to Outlook? Changing email address is not an option.

I have encountered a similar problem with Outlook express. Following a breakdown on my computer , I keep getting a pop up box on outlook express asking me for a passoword and user name. I have given what I think is the right one but it still keeps popping up and will not allow me to send or receive. Help please anyone :D:p:confused:

if you have windows 7/vista and office version 2002, its a microsoft problem.
they dont support that version anymore. ver 2003 works with some minor issues, otherwise use ver 2007.
Else its a permissions issue with the folders that store the info. i dont remember locations offhand but its easy to google.

i found this out the long hard way. best of luck

This happened me everytime a new laptop came in to the house.

When first connected online, the newbie automatically picks the same ISP address as the other laptop. I changed the ISP address to be different than the existing laptops ISP and all those problems vanished.
