Thoughts on Hybrid SDD like the Seagate Momentus XT

I was thinking of building a gaming system with a small fast SSD boot drive and a Hybrid SDD like the Seagate Momentus XT 500GB for all the game files. Would this be a good setup or would I be better saving for a single high capacity SSD?

It should be a good combo.

I'd highly recommend an SSD as a boot drive, with OS and a couple of apps you use day to day, say 60GB or around that mark.

For a second drive my preference would be for a high capacity HDD (1TB+) for everything else (games etc) to take the load of the SSD, you won't want to burn it out too quickly with random read/writes.
