1've my phone for 13 months now via 02. It has not been tampered with (jailbreak etc), nor has it been damaged (dropped etc).

A few months ago, this problem arose but lasted a few days and just corrected itself.

Now it'll lock the home screen, flicker, not lock when I want it to. Its absolutely eating my battery and I want it fixed.

I've entered my IMEI number on the Apple site, and have found that it is outside of their warrantee period.

Will 02 take the phone and repair it? I find it strange, and I assume that it has been mentioned before, that you're issued a phone with an 18 month contract but only a warrantee of 12 months
