Fairly large band of wintry schtuff is due to touchdown in North County Dublin before 6.30, going by the met.ie radar.

Hasn't started yet but didn't really thaw much today either.

    Rainfall radar @ 5pm:

0.5mm/hr of rain is about 0.5cm/hour of snow. So not a lot, but there could be three or four hours of fall in that band, which is moving towards the southeast.

Temps in Dublin city are 0 degrees, don't know if it'll fall as snow, rain or sleet.

Good call Seamas! Lovely blanket of snow now!! Don't know WHAT this will do to the road conditions, but it's beautiful!
