Insured in snow??

    if i crash in the snow, am i insured? I have heard some stories about insurance companies trying to worm out of paying up because of the snow, anyone got the facts on it? fully comp too.

    yes if it doesn't state on your policy that you are not covered wile driving in snow. your policy is a contract. whats on it the the terms of the contract, if it's not said on the policy they can't make it up afterwards.Now if you had slick tires on that weren't manufacturer specification you could be in the ****.

    If you're fully licensed to drive the vehicle, it's got a valid NCT/DOE and the tyres are all OK then there's noway any insurance company can avoid paying out.

    If you're on a permit with 4 bald mismatched tyres, f**ked brakes, damaged shocks then they'll have an out. But they'll have the same out if you're driving on snow or the height of summer.

    Don't listen to people as half of them are lying and the other half don't know. But if you're really, really worried just call your insurance company and ask.
