There's lots of info on the official google android developers site. Interested in seeing what they have done to the gyro sensor and other sensors

Update running through now, can confirm its defo Ginger.

Few friends rocking the same phones have got it too, but we are unbranded not locked to meteor etc.

Are you rooted and/or do you have your Desire with S-OFF? It'd be brilliant if you could dump the ROM for us.

I've sense turned off, I turned off the download, crawling here in work and battery died, will check again later, maybe i got giddy and misread, but pretty sure it said gingerbread, and it was a relatively big enough file.

I'm not rooted either, I just have Sense turned off.

But previously I notice I always got updates a fair bit in advance of the rest of some posters here.

And like I said two friends with Desires confirmed it was gingerbread with the new keyboard functionality.

    - Market (Vending) is updated
    - Facebook, Flash, HTC IME (keyboard), Browser, FM Radio widget, HTC Contacts, HTC Mail, MMS, Phone (Dialer) and QuickOffice have had updates going on the patch file sizes
    - Seems a new app called GSD has been added (anyone know what it is??)
    - New radio (already known), 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27
    - Probably other odds and sods but don't know how they're updated or to what version(s)

Anyone know if it will it take up more or less space on my phones internal memory?

Space is at a premium at this stage unfortunately.
