The 12 Week Blow Dry - still banned???

    Does anyone know if this is still banned? Or are there any salons back doing it in Dublin - thanks

    The salon I got mine done in is still doing them - clearly advertised in the window. I went to Global Hairdressing (01 4736243) which is beside Vicar St. There were a few different brands of it around and only some types were banned.

    As Minier81 has mentioned only some types are recalled.
    I think you can view these on the HSE website.
    There are several still on the market that are allowed - one of these is Global Keratin (banana), whereas Global Keratin (chocolate) is recalled.

    Apparently some of them had high formaldehyde in them but some others were fine.

    Here is the latest news from the Irish Medicines Board.

    The one I got was the global keratin strawberry one, which is on the safe list!!
