    Hey,

I'm looking about at LED tvs .. not pushed at all about 3D, but I am pushed about the software that's installed on it..

Can anyone tell me much about any of the manufacturers and their reputations with their installed software?

I've gone through a few media boxes and tbh, I've yet to get one that played everything .. had one that'd do wmv but no .mov, some that'd wouldnt do mp4 movie files etc.

I *THINK* samsung might even let you develop your own widgets that can be installed on your own tv? Is this true? Do any of the other manufacturers allow anything similar?

I've a samba share available, I'm looking (initially) for a tv that'll be able to play any video formats I care to throw up on it ;)

Anyone have any views on what manufacturers to stay clear of, or manufacturers they'd recommend?
