UPC Signal Transmitter

I don't know if this exists or not but what I am looking for is a device that will send the incoming UPC signal from the white box on the wall to another area of the house to a receiver attached to the UPC Decoder.

The reason I want this is because I want to move the TV from where it is to another corner of the room. However I (my wife) doesn't want cables running to the new location as they will be seen along the skirting board and I don't want to leave the decoder in the old location and use the magic eye either.

Is there any way of doing what I want to do? Easily.

    Cheers

There is no easy way to do this. Wireless senders are poor quality and suffer from interference.

You could save yourself a load of hassle and pay UPC €50 to move the point (or setup a second point, in case you want to move back). They may even be able to run the cables outside the house and come in from the other side.

Could you do the opposite? Leave the box where it is and use a sender to send to the TV?

I have a sender I don't need anymore, if you're in Dublin, PM me, I'll see if I have all the parts. You can have it for free. :)
