    just woke up and found the arm from the sat dish smashed due to a large lump of ice falling on it:(:(. im with sky do i bother ringing them up or contact one of the installers here to sort it out

    Get a local independent installer to look at it if you want it fixed asap.
    Get Sky if you want it fixed in January.
    They may /may not charge you depending on warranty, I'm not actually sure on their position regarding damage like this.
    But yeah,check the ISAA website,ring around the ads the local paper or check the supplier sticky thread above.
