I bought a brand new iphone 3gs as a xmas present. It was not bought from apple direct, vodafone, o2 or 3. I got it at a good price everyone is after a bargain. I went to buy the extended warranty from apple and discovered that the phone has never been regestered with them??
What does this mean? The phone was jailbroken and unlocked in shop. I have connected to itunes and it syncd fine. The phone seems to work ok but do I need to worry about it not been registered. It keeps asking me to register it with itunes but im afraid it will lock the phone.

    All help appreciated here. Thanks

Not registered as in they didn't have your activation details (normal if it was jailbroken right away) or that they didn't find the serial in the system?

Well it was taken out of plastic wrapping and jailbroken straight away so thats normal then??

Activation information is sent to Apple (including registration information you provide) during activation so yes this would be normal.
