Toshiba Regza Thread

Toshiba sell some ranges with "Freeview HD" capability and some with Freesat HD built in as well as "Freeview HD"

The models with "Freeview HD" are certain or all of the SL and RV and WL and VL series units. Some have BBC iPlayer capability which will not work here, many support DLNA and Windows 7 extensions of some sort to DLNA that I don't know much about.

Freesat HD is available too from some of the SL series.

I have been told that Toshiba Ireland will not advertise Freesat capability even if built in but do not cripple it unduly.

I don't know whether this means they allow you to choose UK as yoru location and then edit the channel list afterwards for Freesat and Saorview (and Freeview if available in the east/border region) or whether the Freesat functionality works if you tell it you are in Ireland.

Has anybody tested any of these Regza models in Ireland and which ones and how hard was it to get them working.
