I have a WE SCAR converted in to a DMR and want to find out whats the general concensus on WE mags. Now anyone who has a scar and done research will know that problems can happen with it if useing the CO2 mags on account of the very high pressure it produces, but then you havethe shoddy seals on the Green gas mags which hiss like a snake after a period. Now through my own fault i have a broken CO2 mag and semi useless green gas mag and want to know what option people would go for if you were to buy some new magazines. I will be buying a WE M4 later in the year and heard it works well with CO2 so my intension is tobuy a good few magazines for all of my rifles just to decide on which ones.

With two very cold freezing winters now on the trot it would have to be CO2. Especially for a GBBR, green gas just does not cut it with them, the fps really starts to drop off towards the end of the mag. If you are using it strictly as a DMR then yeah green is ok but you are better off with CO2. Just be sure the internals are upgraded to take the extra pressure, loading nozzle, buffer plate, trigger hammer etc.

Yea its fully upgraded with RATECH parts might invest in a lightweight bomber carrier to reduce the weight of the whole bolt assembly less stress that way anf you get higher ROF and maybe new hammer spring by TSC. Only thing is the CO2 mags are a bollox at times to get 12g cartridge out and can even vent the whole mag for some weird reason.
