    Hey all,

My gears don't want to work when I'm out in this freckin freezin weather. I left my bike out one night (normally have it in the house) and I've had problems changing gears since. They seem to be stuck!!!

Any ideas? Is this the norm??

what kind of bike is it?

id say try stretching out the cable, and raising the rear wheel trying to give it a little run.

Same here... I used a hairdryer to defrost the mechanical parts and then a good clean. It's working fine now

make sure you get some oil into the cable ends - on the down tube, under the bottom bracket and at the front and rear mechs cable ends too.

Make sure gears a well lubricated. Oil has a low freezing point.
