Good Windows 7 book

Howdy! Not 100% sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.

I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 and Office 2010 (from '97 - been using OpenOffice for some time) and was looking to get a couple of books which go into them in some depth. I've tweaking Windows since 3.0 and using Office since 4.3 so I'm not interested in the Dummies type books. Something like the manuals they used to print years ago would be perfect.

Also what's the point of OneNote? Anyone use it?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

as for one note, i hate the thing. But i know people who love it for taking notes.

Thanks, downloaded the First Look one already and gone through a good bit of it. Some useful tips in it, although I'd love something a bit more comprehensive. Will take a look at the Windows 7 Product Guide next!

I've not used it as much as I'd hoped, since we're mostly still using Vista Business SP2 in my place, but the Stanek book from O'Reilly on Win7 has been pretty good so far.

I'd been considering that one alright - think I'll add it to my Santa list now!
