Helemet choice

    Hi

Buying a helmet to fit oakley A-frames. Can anyone suggest based on their experience, a brand that will fit snuggly with the goggles.

Two stipulations: I dont want to change goggles as they have sentimental (as ridiculous as that is) value and id prefer not shell out for a giro helmet if possible.

i have contacted online shops but they werent very helpful. im going to try great outdoors and bring the goggles with me, but i wanted to hear some opinions first, that is if there are any!

    cheers

Make sure to check out Snow and ROck as there carry the stuff that Great Outdoors dont so you wont limit your options.

A Frames will sit with most helmets biggest problem is the gap between the top of the Googles and the leaves terrible wind burn!

I've recently been having a similar dilemma (minus the heartfelt attachment to goggles!). Went to Snow and Rock and tried on a couple with my goggles. got prices etc. but still wanted to try on a Bern. They don't look as mushroomy from what I've seen. Couldn't find anywhere local that stocked them, but Chainreaction up North does.

So I had to make a choice. Against all the advice I had read and given regarding helmets (snow, bike, motorbike...) I went and ordered a Bern from chainreaction. I was a medium in anything I tried on, and had a rough idea what the circumference of my head is, so took a gamble. It's due here during the week. I have adidas goggles for this season, but have Oakley o-frames too. If anyone knows if o-frames and a-frames are a similar fit/shape, I can report back to you.

Whether or not this fits, I still wouldn't recommend anyone buying a lid without trying it on first. But what can I say, I like living on the edge!!
