Was talking to my 5yr old nephew on a ph call back home recently and he was in the middle of watching Tom and Jerry (some of the classics never die). This got me thinking about cartoons I grew up with and comparing them to now. Definitely the 80's and early 90's were the highlight for cartoons. MASK, C.O.P.S, Galaxy Rangers, Transformers and Inspector Gadget to name a few were my favourites.
Anyone remember that show...You can't do that on TV or Roustabout on the children's channel?

In fairness to Candy-gal, the thread title does say "cartoons/TV".

Here's another: When our powers combine, we summon......CAPTAIN PLANET!!

Lord knows why they didn't just combine their powers in the first few minutes of the episode? Would have saved themselves a lot of trouble.
