contact Tony in Eirsoft as he can order from these places as partner products

reason i suggest this is, there are a lot of charges to be factored in on top of the price of the AEG such as shipping, VAT and customs charges..also you need to make sure the AEG has been downgraded, which you will be charged for by those comapnies, as if it comes in to the country over the legal limit then you face having customs destroyin your purchase and you losing all your money

I ordered a KSC USP compact many moons ago from ehobby, and I've since ordered a few other bits and bobs; like systema gearbox parts, GBBR mags, etc. Never had a problem, but all said and done I ordered that USP when airsoft was still in an embryonic state in Ireland.

For anything that may push over 1j, you'll need to ask for downgrades before shipping; which - afaik - ehobby provide, and redwolf will most certainly do.

As for other sites; very much depends on a) what you want and b) if what you want can be legally downgraded. I'd have a look around the Irish sites first, then check out a few of the UK ones that carry decent lines of stock such as; Fire-support, landwarrior, airsoft armoury, airsoftworld, Airsoft Skirmish, etc. It's by no means a definitive list.

But if you want something quite specific or hard to get then Hong-Kong retailers are the way to go in all likelihood.

I've had great experiences with both retailers.

Just make sure that the RIF is under 328fps with 0.2g BBs (i.e. 1j) and you'll be grand. If it is not <1j you'll have to get in touch with them, and get the RIF downgraded. I did not have to do this, so I can't vouch for their service.

Just remember to add up all the costs (downgrading, shipping, VAT, excise duty, admin fees etc) before buying, and then check the Irish Retailers for the products - you may be able to get them cheaper, faster and much easier.

Mind if I ask what gun you're after? I'm nosey when it comes to guns :P

By the time you add shipping (best part of $100) and the inevitable customs duty, VAT and processing costs (approx 25% of the total price inc shipping) - I doubt you will save anything.

You also run the risk of having the gun being taken for testing by the Gardai and if it is overpowered it will be destroyed.

If you have a problem - you have little or no comeback. On paper it all looks very tempting but the reality is not so simple or cheap. Just think twice before you take the plunge and although the Irish ratailers might be a few Euro dearer - believe me, it's worth it for the backup and service they can provide.

Retailers in Ireland are actually very competitive when compared to alot of the UK and Europe.

EDIT - lol, I need to press reply faster, sorry for repeating what was already stated. :D

    Both are good sites tho.

You can still order from both these retailers yourself, we order from redwolf on a regular basis and find them to be very good to deal with, and I personally have had problems with ehobby. The advantage to getting an Irish retailer to order an item for you is that they will generally charge a small handling fee, but you get a warrantee with your purchase and have somewhere to go to if you have any problems with your purchase,

thinking of getting a magpul masada, really like the look of them and hear good reviews too but they are 550 euro in ireland, was trying to find them cheaper

after all the charges are worked out, you wont find them much cheaper plus you'll have no warranty or after sale service

The G&G masada comes with a 12 month factory warrantee, only an authorised service center can preform work on this gun or the warrantee would be voided

only magpul and a&k produce them
