BBC 1 HD

Hi - I have sky hd and hd package. Watching match of the day tonight and they said also available in HD but looked on BBC HD and wasn't there. I think there is a BBC 1 HD is there? How can I get it? Can I record from it? Thanks a mill - still getting used to sky! Edit - think I found answer in sticky thread! Disappointed…

It has to be tuned into other channels sticky here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055520627 There is a way of recording it but not worth the hassle imo.ITV HD can also be tuned in.

It's not on the EPG (cue lots of gnashing of teeth on here!). You need to tune it in manually via ''services''. The frequency is;

Press the ''services'' button, then press 9, then 6. Use the arrow keys on your remote to highlight each field, entering the above values as you go. When you hasve entered the last value, press the yellow button to scan that frequency for channels. Three should appear; highlight 'BBC1 HD'', then press yellow to save it. You will then be able to access the station by pressing ''services'', then 9, then 5.

Watching motd in hd now (all still looks rubbish to me, but I'm not the one watching!). So stupid it's not on as standard and can't be recorded!

It is upscaled but I don't think picture quality is what the op was alluding to.:rolleyes:
