which heating system to use and what you think of this one

    hi just about to start building and still deciding on heating system, so far what i have in mind is a timber frame construction with external walls with a u vale of .11 windows are sliding ssch and the best can be acheved is 1.1 at the moment. it is a bunglow and was thinking of putting in electric underfloorheating there are two stoves one small stove in small livingroom with no back bolier and one big stove in big sittingroom with back bolier but will not be using that one for a while. will have solar tubes for hot water but here is the thing herself is looking to put in gas rangemaster for kitchen so was wonder insted of getting in oil for hot water are they a small gas boiler that i could use for hot water and for cooker, was thinkin of just having gas cylenders, also am thinking of getting in mhrv it seems to be a good idea in a airthight house which i hope to have, please feel free to tell me where i am going wrong or what you would change

    These are the questions you should really be asking your architect / engineer / ber assessor and all should be answered before any work commences. For instance, if hrv is to be installed and solid fuel stove is designed in, then there should be an external air supply to the stove.

    Also does the house comply with building regs? Do you know?
    Has the design been assessed in DEAP?

    My advice is to get professional input now and save alot further down the line.
