your opinion on my options

    I Have an issue with a door supplier and would like for opinions on my options before i proceed further.

    I placed a large deposit for doors, handles, liners, architraves and skirting with a supplier last august. My problems started after this..

    Door liners
    My first problem arose when they shipped the Door liners. They were inaccurate in size and incorrectly made up. I requested them to be repalced but eventually had to return them my self. After two further returns of the liners as a result of being inaccuratly made I was forced in a position where i was not on site and my slabber/carpenter and plasterer were on site awaiting my input on their latest attempt. The carpenter made his best effort and informed me that 15mm will be taken off all doors on installation. My plaster added that 3-4mm would be needed to the skim to make the liners flush.
    I sent a letter of complaint to the company and requested their reply. The did absolutly nothing. This has cost me both in man hours and labour rates as well as travelling to return the products to them.
    In september I requested doors and architraves to be delivered and followed up with e-mails on the 9th ,12th of november and again on the 1st and 3rd of december. I am still awaiting my doors with no reply since the 9th of november.
    What if anyone have been in a similar situation . Do you go down the legal route for poor material and non delivery or what is your best opinion.
