I have a 03 Avensis newer type model. Problem is when it warms up it wont restart. Have it fully serviced, put in new heater plugs and blown out all fuel lines but still have the same trouble. Im not a mechanic so any suggestions would be great,
    Cheers.

Have your starter motor checked out.

PS I'm not a mechanic either.

I'd second that....seen a 04 D4d where is would not start when warm due to starter motor drawing to much current from the injectors....one the starter was recondition it was fine...:)

It has been well documented that the starters do not turn over these engines fast enough to get them to fire. Have a lookand do a search here: Toyota Owners Club
