Just a reminder about this fight tonight as I didnt see a thread on it.

WBO super featherweight title fight, burns first defence since beating Roman Martinez a few months ago to take the title. No one gave burns much of a chance (including me) but he put in an unbelievable performance to take the title back in september.

Burns struggled to make the weight for tonights fight and Evensen had to step up from featherweight. burns has a height and reach advantage too. Looks on paper to be a safe first defence for Burns but even he didnt shine too bright until his title shot so you never know.

sky sports one from 9pm.

looks like this is a points win for burns. His lack of power will be his biggest problem in future, especially if he moves up a weight.

not a great performance by ricky but he tends to look good against better opposition. still only lost one round on 2 judges cards and two rounds on the other. very comfortable win but not an easy fight.......
