Picked up my first strat this morning (yay!) and after a few hours of messing around got to removing the film on the scratch plate. There is still some film surrounding the vol/tone knobs that I cant seem to get at. I wouldn't mind but it is causing them to stick slightly - how do / can I remove the knobs without breaking anything?

the knobs should pull off, or else there is a grub screw that needs taking out first - do this and you can easily get to the plastic to remove it
