Hi all , Strange one -'phone is working as if headphones are in it. No sound as a result - have put headphones in and out - checked to see if anything stuck in it with paperclip - still nothing. Any ideas?

You could try blowing into the socket. I read on a few forums that it worked for people experiencing the same issue.
