I bought a logitech battery operated I-pod dock with remote. Excellent sound quality... Think I paid about £35 second hand.

I think what you've listed above is for someone looking for a project!.. good luck to them!

Anyone try the fox call as a ring tone on their mobile phone. The phone can be plugged into a mini amp to boost the output volume.
Hows that for a long distance remote caller.

I was just wondering about that yesterday looking up callers Clive. The volume question did pop into my mind alright. Is it a simple process to connect a phone & amp?

John you all have to do is plug the phone into the mini amp with a 2.5mm jack plug cable get from tesco's or local tv shop. The amp has volume control and runs off a small 9v battery, like in the smoke detectors. It also has an output that kills it's own speaker and goes to an external input like the speaker or Hy-Fy system again with the 2.5mm jack plug cable.

HERE WE GO AGAIN. ;)read this link first from the Hunting TIPS section.

Mini amp powered by an internal 9v battery @€;17. Good to about 2 fields of sound. :D

and go as big as you dare..........................
Mini amp connected to an MP3 player, but you will have the mobile instead, all on top of a water-proof speaker. Good for the county fair sort of sound. :D All in about €70.
Signal range = next field, county, country, global. :D
