This "thanks" thing seems to be an issue for some people.
I have devised a Thankswhore quotient.
Simply divide your number of thanked threads by your total postcount and see where you fit in below:

0 to 0.1
You are not a thankswhore.Either you have such extreme views that everyone hates you,or you a so boring that peoples eyes glaze over when they read what you said

0.1 to 0.5
About average.Once you got a lot of thanks for one particular post that was devastatingly apt or funny and you keep re-reading afterwards basking in the warm glow of the Boardsies approval.

0.5 to 1
Full on miniskirt high heeels and fishnet stockings.
