i cleaned my kjw 1911 co2 last night, when i was putting a few round through it afterwards a piece broke.

i don't know what the part is called, but it the part at the front of the slide that you twist to remove to get the barrel out.

it the part when you remove the slide then the spring and the part that the spring into, well it the next part that broke.

after around 10 shots of flew off a went flying across the room.

anybody know what this part is call and where i could get a replacement?

    thanks

Barrel Bushing. One of the weakest parts of all 1911's. You can get replacements. (Note this is for a WE) :)

You can order replacements direct from KJW themselves for buttons. They have very good service. You may be watiting a while to hear from them due to time differences, but I found them to be excellent. Their website is:
    http://www.kjworksusa.com

All you have to do is look at your manual on the exploded diagram (if you don't have your manual, look at one online), send them an email with the part number and ask for a price quote. It's usually much cheaper than going through an Asian retailer.

    Hope this helps!

Actually...if you're not in a hurry, I'll be replacing the outerbarrel on one of my 1911's, you're welcome to the barrel bushing when I get around to it...won't be before christmas though

you are probably better contacting KJW directly in Taiwan. KJW USA will probably just ignore you.

Thank you Aidan, I'd been looking for their other website...but I was being lazy - so apologies to the OP. Definitely go with Taiwan, that's who I've used before
