Hi all, appreciate any help on this, im going to get my girlfriend a laptop for xmas, im just not sure what to get.

I was on Dell and there was Inspirion Mini 10 for about €330, but i dont think this has a disk drive and is pretty much just for the internet? Ive had a look on other websites like pixmania etc and i cant really see much..

Am i being completely delusional or will i be able to get a reasonable laptop for this price? Any pointers are greatly appreciated..

    Budget: 300-400

Intended use: Internet, email, watching movies, bit of word processing just general use

Mobility: not hugely important, but dont want a big clunk of a thing either

    Warranty: not hugely important

What Operating System do you use? Windows
