No Outside Air sensor Icon on dash Console

    Hi Folks

    Hope someone can help or give me some advice on this. I have a citreon C3 2006 1.1 hatchback. Now the thing is the outside air temp sensor icon reading is not displayed on the dash console. It never has been since we bought it back in 2006. When you press the various buttons to adjust the menu display setting it brings up the units menu and you can change between celsius and farenheith but it does not come up on the display itself, everything is displayed like time date radio stations etc but no outsdie air temp, would this be is it a dianostic thing? and where in the car is the air sensor located? With the weather we have had recently was just curious on the outside air temp and seeing its an 06 shouldnt it be displayed on the dash?
