i soon be getting ra and have been paying the landlord every week do i get the back pay or does it go into his account not understanding the way it works

Youve dug up a pretty old thread here - but to answer your question:

The back pay money will go to you - in most places i think the monies always go to the tenant - there used to be an option of paying directly to the landlord, but I believe this is no longer the case - at least not in my area.

Either way - if its still an option - you would have to request specifically to have your landlord paid into his account - assuming you havent asked for that.
